Kintsugi is the traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. This technique highlights the cracks and repairs rather than hiding them, turning the broken piece into a beautiful and unique work of art. Kintsugi is also a beautiful metaphor for embracing imperfections and turning them into sources of strength and beauty.
In my daily practice, I embody this philosophy. Collaborating with my patients, I strive to heal their areas of concern. Together, we embark on a journey of empowerment, where they learn about their health and their bodies. With each interaction, I grow more knowledgeable, enabling me to better serve and support my patients here at AIC.
