How does Simponi Aria work?

Simponi Aria is a monoclonal antibody that targets and blocks a protein called TNF (tumor necrosis factor), which is often overexpressed in people with autoimmune diseases and contributes to the damaging inflammation that harms joints. It is administered by intravenous (IV) infusion in a doctor’s office.
